Cambridge students score excel at SkillsUSA nationals

MILTON, Ga. — Cambridge’s SkillUSA team racked up 17 top-ten places and seven students were named national medalists at the National SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Conference June 19-23 in Lexington, Kentucky. Cambridge students competed with over 10,000 students from all 50 states.

Connor Christiansen, Zach Corcoran, Ayush Kumar, Cole Mantas, Jack Mulroy and Carter Washburn all secured national medals for Chapter Business Procedure.

Kruthika Kuma earned a bronze medal in Principles of Engineering Technology.

10 other Cambridge students placed in the national event.

Christiansen was recently selected as President of Georgia SkillsUSA. He is the first SkillsUSA state president in Fulton County Schools history.
