Northern Ridge District announces new Eagle Scouts

NORTH FULTON, Ga. — The Northern Ridge Boy Scout District, which includes the cities of Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Milton, recently announced its newest Eagle Scouts. These Scouts all passed their Board of Review on Oct. 26 at the Alpharetta Presbyterian Church:

Zachary Tennessee of Troop 69, sponsored by Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, whose project was the design and construction of a fire pit complete with four benches for St. James United Methodist Church.

William Haygood of Troop 69, sponsored by Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, whose project was the design and painting of a large map of the United States for Alpharetta Christian Academy.

Gavin Moye of Troop 10 was sponsored by St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. His project was the design and construction of a large Children’s Story Board. He also replaced old signs and constructed of an herb garden at the Alpharetta Community Garden located at Wills Park.

Nolan Waldschmidt of Troop 10 was sponsored by St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. His project was the design and construction of an outdoor lunch area at Bridgeway Christian Academy, which included the design and construction of a privacy fence and garbage enclosures.

Maanas Purushothapu of Troop 3143, sponsored by Johns Creek United Methodist Church, whose project was the design and building of a two-step riser for the Choir Room at Johns Creek United Methodist Church.

John Moon of Troop 3143, sponsored by Johns Creek United Methodist Church, whose project was the design and construction of six picnic benches and the landscaping of an outdoor area for the Sugarloaf Korean Baptist Church.

Aditya Gunna of Troop 69, sponsored by Alpharetta First United Methodist Church, whose project was the design and construction of an informational Kiosk for the Big Creek Greenway.

Ryan Bard of Troop 10 was sponsored by St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. His project was the enhancement of Alpharetta Town Hall by landscaping and installing 14 signs for nature education.
