MILTON, Ga. — Milton kicked off the holiday season with a packed crowd at Broadwell Pavilion Saturday for the 10th annual Christmas in Crabapple.
Added to this year’s festivities was the lighting of the city’s tree which shone throughout Downtown Crabapple.
After telling Santa their holiday wishes and making Christmas crafts, children also had the opportunity to meet Anna and Elsa from the Disney film, “Frozen.”
“Jingle Bells” and other holiday classics resounded through Downtown Crabapple with performances from The North Fulton School of Music and the choruses of Milton High and Birmingham Falls Elementary.
Boy Scouts from Milton’s Troop 3,000 were on hand to tend to a s’more station, and Mugs on Milton provided hot cocoa and cookies.
North Fulton Community Charities also took donations for their toy drive.
“It’s great to see everyone come together for great events like this,” Mayor Joe Lockwood said. “It really adds to the sense of community in the city.”
