Clarity Farms showcase to benefit Children’s Charities

NORTH FULTON, Ga. — Alpharetta’s Clarity Farm will host a “Southern Soiree” and showcase home and tour to benefit Children’s Charities April 19-23. Proceeds from the events will help put into action a plan of Children’s Charities to build an all-inclusive park in Milton that can be used by children of all abilities.

The goal of the events is to raise $500,000 to fund the inclusive playground, the first of its kind in North Fulton. The play area will offer as a variety of swings, roller slides, musical instruments, sensory centers, a tea cup whirl, climb-on and climb-in structures, see-saws and ADA-approved picnic tables, as well as ramping throughout the park. Rubber flooring will be poured throughout the playground for ease of access for all abilities.

Children’s Charities began in 2014, aiming to keep support and funds within the North Fulton and South Forsyth communities. The charity was started by Amanda White and Lauren Holmes of Milton. It has about 35 volunteer staff members and the Clarity Farms showcase will be its biggest project to date.

The Southern Soiree on April 19 is a black tie, private showing of the home and will feature cocktails, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and live music. From April 20-23, tours of the home will be available.

The home, built by Jason Cole of Cole Construction and designed and decorated by Pacita Wilson of Woodstock-based Pineapple Park, features antiques and classic pieces in a setting of modern design.

It features beams over 100 years old, multiple custom chandeliers, an open floorplan with an abundance of natural lighting, with custom fixtures throughout.

Artwork from Italian and local artists are displayed throughout the home, including equestrian-themed pieces and a piece made from 100-year-old salvaged metal.

The home also features a barn, constructed in 1965, that has been updated to modernity but still holds a rustic, farmhouse appearance.

An outdoor kitchen, fire pit and patio overlook the manicured landscaping surrounding the home, including a field featuring 1,000 daisies.
