Posted by Paladins

Surrounded by teammates, coaches, family and friends, Fellowship Christian School students Jack Hardin, Trey Robinson, and Michael Bruno signed intent letters yesterday to play at the collegiate level.

Jack Hardin has committed to play Football at Division 1 Furman University in Greenville, SC. Jack has competed in football, baseball, soccer and basketball during his tenure at FCS. He was selected as All-Region in football and baseball and was recognized as the Region 6A Offensive Player of the Year, and First Team All State. Most recently, Jack recently received the Atlanta Journal and Constitution Cup Trophy.

Trey Robinson committed to play Division 1 lacrosse at Mercer University in Macon, GA. Trey is a multi-sport athlete at FCS, playing outside linebacker on our 1A State Runner-up football team, and Varsity Lacrosse. Michael Bruno will play soccer at Division III LaGrange College in LaGrange, GA. In addition to athletics, Michael is also an accomplished pianist and a class leader in music theory and composition. Athletic Director David Lowery made the announcements this week. “These are three extremely hardworking young men, all of whom are multi-sport athletes. We are very proud of their accomplishments at Fellowship, and we are excited about the impact they will make at the next level."

In addition, Josh Turner has received a 4 year Presidential Scholarship for Arts to Brenau University, where he will study theater. Josh received the Best Actor award for our Region in 2015/2016 and was also the Region Winner this year for dramatic interpretation in the state literary competition. Drama Director Jeremy Wood shared the following on Josh, "We are very proud of Josh. He has plenty of talent, but what makes him stand out is his willingness to work hard to develop that talent. He doesn’t assume that he’s going to coast through with what he’s got. He puts in the effort to get better. That is what makes Josh such a successful student, actor, and person."
