Milton hosts Party on the Plaza, tours of new city hall



MILTON, Ga. — Milton is encouraging its residents to come out for a Party on the Plaza event at the new city hall on April 29 which will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new hall.

Tours will take place from 1-6 p.m. followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and dedication of the city hall, live music from The American Flyers and dinner and drinks.

The tours, ceremony and entertainment will be free of charge. Those wishing to include dinner must purchase tickets which can be bought through or in person at city hall. Tickets are $25 per person and include dinner, coffee and dessert.

Soft drinks, beer and wine will be available for purchase the night of the event.

With the road in front of city hall still under construction, a free remote parking and trolley service will be available at Crabapple First Baptist Church from 4-11 p.m. Remote parking is recommended as parking will be limited at the time of the event.
